what is it that you dont understand? .. ^__^ .. did you use the multiply option and lower your transparency to at least 50% or less .. that is how you create a shadow.. if you did and you cannot see it.. it means you need to slect that layer and move it up ( untop of every other layer .) so it can be seen!
